What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

This has been such a beautiful Autumn season!  The colors this year were amazing!!  And, it's time to give thanks as Thanksgiving is just next week!

I have 3 new releases to share today.

First, some pretty Crazy Christmas Bells Ornaments designed for Wichelt's Perforated Paper using DMC and Kreinik #4 Braid.

And then 2 new Colorful Cats.  Gingham is worked in red, white and denim blue.  She's the Tom Boy!

Then I have Antoinette, our Girly Girl!!  Shades of pink, aqua and featuring a Fleur De Lis!  Who does this remind us of?

I have lots of new designs and information to share today!!

First, a beautiful new Mandala design with morning glories and butterflies.  This is a star shaped mandala and has some Kreinik metallic for sparkle.

Next is the Butterflies And Lace pattern.  4 butterflies designs worked in different colors against a blackwork background worked in white which gives the designs the look of lace.

New in the Crazy Ornaments series are a set of 4 Victorian Fans.  Pastel colors and flowers give these a Summery look.  Add small tassels to the bottom of the fans!

So, this is the first book I've managed to read in October. (I know. It's a terrible thing. The lack of reading, that is. The book is wonderful.) It came last weekend. I picked it up from the post office around noon, came home and started reading.

I didn't put it down until the end.

The end came way too soon. I'm hopeful, based solely on one scene in the book with information that as yet has gone nowhere, that there is at least one sequel planned. I would rather have a whole series.

Have I ever mentioned that I really don't like January?  It's like the month that never ends!

I've kept myself quite busy designing some new cross stitch patterns.
